Norman Reedus Spoilers

On Wednesday, Dec. 5, “The Walking Dead” star Norman Reedus spoke via Spreecast cam interview with Extra TV’s Channel about his character Daryl Dixon. The actor, who portrays the hunter/tracker Daryl Dixon on the hit TV series, tried to stay mum about revealing any spoilers, but in between talks about his hobbies, website, and crazy fan mail, Reedus spilled some hints about what’s to come for the second half of “The Walking Dead.”

When a fan asked what his favorite job in his career has been, Reedus replied:

“The Walking Dead” is my favorite job that I’ve ever been a part of. It’s a character that I’ve helped develop. I hope I’m Daryl Dixon till I’m like…70!

The host of the interview commented, “the best part is that this show has no shelf life, it can go on forever!” To which Reedus replied:

Yeah, I hope it never ends. It is seriously my favorite job ever.

His response can of course mean gratitude and love he has for his character, but fans are speculating, and hoping, that it means something more. While we already know Daryl will survive the Governor’s zombie arena pit thanks to the sneak peek that was released for the second half of season 3, could his response mean that he will remain alive throughout the season, and possibly beyond? The humble and enthusiastic actor sure seemed pumped about being a part of this series and showed no hint that he will be killed off anytime soon.

The ETC host asked for some hints to what we can expect Reedus replied:

Well Tyreese was just introduced, he’s a lot of fun. Hmm, there’s just so much that happens. I don’t even know where to begin. It hasn’t even started yet, like, the second half has a lot more than the first did.

“The Walking Dead” season 3 will return with “The Suicide King” to AMC on February 10.
